We are a private fragrance label with one signature scent: HAU. Established in 2021, we believe there is beauty in simplicity & are working hard to create a collection of essentials for your body, home & lifestyle
Our signature scent was created with the intention to bring forward something completely unique, created for those who appreciate a hint of mystery. For now, we are set to release our signature fragrance oil in early 2022 so please stay tuned & sign up for a complimentary sample because your new signature scent is coming xx

Welcome to my passion project; I'm truly over the moon that you're here & have taken the opportunity to learn more about how this business came to be ~
The idea to create Sacred Hau came to me while I was living on North Shore, O'ahu, the only place I've considered to be 'home'
I am inspired & humbled daily by the beauty & simplicity of nature. I knew these were elements that needed inclusion into any label I dreamt up. Due to my aversion for anything synthetic & my affinity for the simple things, I thought it would be incredible to start a fragrance label that encompassed these values which I hold to such a high regard

Behind the name
Sacred Hau is named after the indigenous Hau tree, also known as the sea hibiscus. It's commonly found along coastlines & streams in Hawai'i & other tropical locations. The tree grows beautiful yellow flowers which fall, oxidize, & turn into a beautiful blend of red, yellow, & coral (like magic!)
The native Hawaiians used the tree for medicinal & non-medicinal purposes, some of which include drinking the sap to reduce labor pains, using the wood for parts on their outrigger canoes, & using the fibers to craft sandals
While I do have austronesian ancestry, I am not Hawaiian. With that said, I have an immense respect & ever-growing love for Hawaiian culture & invite you to learn more about the rich history that helped inspire Sacred Hau by clicking here
